    The bachelor thesis dealt with one of the most serious problems of crime ? the crime of minors and adolescents. It is a very sensitive issue that the society should pay close attention to it. The aim of this work was to map the situation of juvenile crime, find the most often committed crime, its motives and causes.The work was divided into theoretical and practical parts. The first part dealt with the definition of fundamental terms, description of the developments in crime since 1989, various influences of juvenile delinquency, behaviour disorders that affect delinquent action, crime prevention and its programms. This part was based on laws, literature and other resources. The second part was based on the method of processing questionnaires. The data from educational institutions were used as the source of research. The steps to reduce juvenilie delinquency were suggested according to the survey. The results showed that juvenile delinquency of boys from the educational institution was greatly influenced by upbringing and place where the boys lived.The survey showed the failure of parenting, that affects the individual formation.
