    The bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of regional development of the Municipality with Extended Authority Železný Brod. The thesis contains analytical part focused on research of the socio-economic conditions, natural conditions and potentials of area including methods of researching. The second part analyse the documents about development at various levels of state administration and their implementation to the development activities in the area of Municipality with Extended Authority Železný Brod. This part contains qualitative researching inthe rural region, which is based on analysis of the synergy of key actors usingquestionnairing and controlled interview. Final part of the thesis consists of theproposal of the programme of development in ORP Železný Brod on the previoussurvey and evaluation of qualitative researching. It contains possible development oftourism by way sustainable development in this area and new concepts with furtherpossibilities of development that improved the social situation of the residents in thisArea.
