    The aim of this dissertation Physical Education at Basic and Waldorf Schools was to compare Physical education at basic and Waldorf schools. In comparism of theoretical level we found out that the Physical education at Waldorf schools is based on enjoyment of the motion. At basic schools students are learnt to influence their health by motional activity that is included in educational programmes of Waldorf and basic schools. In practical level we compared Physical education in the 6th and 7th classes. The experiment took place at two different schools with similar amount of student but distinctive Educational Programme. However, we got to know that the environment, curriculum and teachers of Physical education are not different at all. We evaluated students of 6th and 7th year of the chosen schools by test ?battery? Fitnessgram. We compared the results and we found out similar level of health efficiency with divergences of particular units. The mechanism of verification of presumptions in healthy development of the students was missing at tested schools.
