    Seasonal employment is an issue that has been on agenda of many hotels, guesthouses and other tourist enterprises. This particularly applies to mountain areas with a high demand for accommodation in peak periods such as summer or winter months. During the off-peak period (spring and autumn), these enterprises are used seldom and therefore the demand for workers is not as intense as it would be in busy terms. The aim of this project is to focus on a small-sized enterprise called Hotel Sport located in Jizerske hory. Firstly, I will introduce this enterprise; describe its business activities and the employment terms of its workers. The next step will be to investigate and analyse the issue of seasonal employment in slightly larger tourist organisations with a different employees structure.
