    The object of my bachelor thesis is theoretical and practical introduction of FMEA method. As a typical preventive method it is a very important tool used for fault prevention and for unwanted costs reduction. The theoretical description of FMEA was the first topic I tried to concentrate on. It is nascency, utilization and development of FMEA. In my practical part Iuused the opportunity to describe specific process in company I work for. Delphi puts great effort in FMEA formation and updating. It is important not only for internal use. The FMEA is significant in external audits which are provided by prestigious audit companies as well as customers. FMEA is created not only for new projects, but it is obviosity to keep FMEA updated for current projects. It helps mainly at new product development to find weak points and reduce contingent risks. FMEA is also important in process optimalization and error rate reducing which manages decreasing quantity of rejected products, accompanying transport costs and allows continuous production and subsequent delivery to the satisfied consumer. The satisfied consumer is not only the target of FMEA processes but of all the company. The benefit of FMEA is evident and it has great influence to company reputation.

    Zvýšení ziskovosti projektu v závodě Delphi ČL

    The main object of this dissertation is an analyze of individual project in Delphi Česká Lípa plant. Delphi is one of the most international suppliers in automotive industry. The plant in Česka Lipa engaged in wire manufacturing for customer Audi, VW Skoda and BMW. Examined project in spite of planned profit fell into decline and the purpose of this dissertation is to find, analyze and evaluate the most significant influences to profitability of examined project. Diploma work in the first part contains theoretical processes presentation and work tools used in the plant. In the second part there is already an analyze of real outcomes of individual area of projects. Part of diploma work is an analyze of actual and planned situation and above all complex summary of obtained results. Finally, there is economic recapitulation including suggestions of possible corrective actions.
