- ItemChování a postoje zákazníka k elektonickým platebním systémům: Srovnání mezi Velkou Británií a Českou republikou(Technická Univerzita v Liberci, 2008) Šafářová, Klára; Hyblerová, ŠárkaThere has been a distinct growth in number of electronic payments in majority of advanced countries all over the world. This trend incited numerous notions of rapid moving toward a cashless society. This paper examines and compares use and acceptance of various methods of payment with focus on cash and payment cards in the UK and the Czech Republic. It also investigates main factors which discourage customers from using electronic payments. The research has been conducted in the UK and the Czech Republic which enables comparison of differences and revelation of similarities in the two observed countries. Findings of this study suggest that there are certain differences in payment cultures of the UK and the Czech Republic such as much greater faith in and widespread of electronic payments in the UK than in the Czech Republic. However, cash remains the most popular and predominant payment instrument in terms of volume in the both observed countries. The data analyses also revealed that lack of security presents one of the three most problematic issues in the UK and the Czech Republic.
- ItemThe influence of plasma treatment on adhesive quality of silver nanoparticles(Tanger Ltd, 2011) Cigánová, Barbora; Šafářová, Klára; Wiener, JakubTextile materials have high porosity, high interior surface, along with high strength and structure flexibility therefore they are important from technical point of view. Textile materials are ideal carriers of nanoparticles whereas catalytic or barrier effect of these nanoparticels can be synergic advanced. The immobilization and fixation of this on textile surface are the main problems in application. Plasma technology performed under atmospheric pressure is used to modify the chemical structure and also topography of the surface of the material. Fields of application can be: desizing, funcionalizing, and design of surface properties of textile fibers. Dielectric barrier discharge is broadly used for atmospheric pressure treatment of large movable materials. Surfaces of textile fibers can be modify with dielectric barrier discharge without modifying the bulk properties. The influence of plasma treatment on sorption of silver nanoparticles from liquid on textile was tested in this study. The samples were treated by diffuse coplanar surface barrier plasma discharge (DCSBD). Changes in chemical structure were observed by FT-IR. Nanoparticles were applied on surface from the solution. The antibacterial effect of silver was tested against Escherichia coli. The surface of fibres with nanoparticles was observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). © 2011 TANGER Ltd., Ostrava.
- ItemVstup Turecka do Evropské unie: kontroverzní téma politiky rozšiřování Evropské unie(Technická Univerzita v Liberci, 2012) Šafářová, Klára; Fárek, JiříThe diploma work deals with the problematic relations between Turkey and the European Union. The question of Turkish accession to the European Union presents a very controversial issue of the European Union Enlargement Policy which often constitutes a theme of political and economical debates. The main aim of this study is to analyze the development of relationship between Turkey and the European Union, examine economical development and the current state of the country?s economical situation, evaluate the influence of Turkish motivations for accession to the Union on the process of economical and political liberalization of the country, examine maturity of Turkish economy in comparison with maturity of European Union member states? economies and also assess the prospects of Turkey for full membership in the European Union in the near future.
