    The paper inquires into problems of teacher authority at secondary technical school. The aim of this thesis is to find out the reasons that weaken, or in reverse strengthen the authority of teacher at school, and to classify the types of authority. Then it deals with relation between student discipline and authority, and presents the means of exercise of teacher authority, and describes the problems related to this field that the contemporary education handles with. As a research methods was used the questionnaire that investigate the authority both from the view of teacher, and from the view of the student.

    Školní neúspěšnost - vliv internátu

    The aim of this final year project is to find out the influence of school hostel over a students´ results. In the first part theoretical causes of students´ failure are discussed. The theoretical first part is followed by the practical part, in which I try to quantify this possible cause by a questionnaire. At the end, according the theoretical and practical knowledge, the influence of school hostel is discussed.
