dc.description.abstractTesting of the fire doors is very challenging due to the requirements of the standards. It is necessary to carry out a series of time-consuming and costly tests for certification. This article focuses on modeling the behavior of fire doors during a fire, allowing you to achieve the desired properties more quickly and, in particular, to test the fire resistance and smoke tightness virtually on the model. The advantage of using the described methods is in particular financial savings in the innovation of existing doors or in the development of new door types. The results of the numerical simulations are also confronted with the results of the real-world tests.en
