Abstract
Bakalarska prace se zabyva epilepsii. V teoreticke casti popisuje postoj laicke verejnosti ktomuto onemocneni od staroveku po soucasnost, epileptologickou peci vCeske republice, shrnuje dosavadni poznatky o epilepsii a specifika osetrovatelske pece opacienty sepilepsii. Dale je teoreticka cast venovana samotne edukaci, ktera je nedilnou a nezastupitelnou soucasti komplexni pece o tyto pacienty. Cilem vyzkumne casti je zjistit znalosti pacientu o tomto onemocneni, rezimovych opatrenich, zmapovat zpusob edukace u pacientu s epilepsii a zjistit, zda pacienti znaji svepomocne skupiny sdruzujici epileptiky. Vysledky vyzkumneho setreni byly pouzity pro vytvoreni edukacniho standardu pro vseobecne sestry.
This thesis is concerned with epilepsy. In theoretical part it describes attitude of the nonprofessional public towards this disease since ancient times to the present days, epileptological care in the Czech Republic, summarizes existing findings about epilepsy and specific care about patients with epilepsy. Furthermore, theoretical part engages in the very education, which is integral and irreplaceable constituent of complex care for these patients. The aim of the research is to ascertain the knowledge of patients with epilepsy and find out to what extent they are aware of the self-help associations (groups) uniting epileptics. The results of the research have been used for the establishment of educational standard for general nurses.
