dc.description.abstract	Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na důležitý aspekt léčby rakoviny plic, a to radioterapii. Karcinom plic patří mezi nejběžnější formy rakoviny a má významný vliv na kvalitu života pacientů, kteří trpí tímto onemocněním. Radioterapie představuje jednu z hlavních léčebných modalit a její úspěch závisí na precizním plánování a aplikaci. Celá bakalářská práce je rozdělena na dvě části - a to část teoretickou a výzkumnou. V teoretické části se práce zabývá prvně anatomií a fyziologií plic. Dále také problematikou karcinomu plic jako onkologickým onemocněním, symptomy a diagnostikou nemoci, rizikovými faktory. Nedílnou součást této části tvoří popsání radioterapie a jiných léčebných modalit. Ve výzkumné části práce je vysvětlen algoritmus plánování a provedení zevní radioterapie karcinomu plic a na souboru pacientů posouzena účinnost radioterapie.	cs
dc.description.abstract	This bachelor´s thesis focuses on a crucial aspect of lung cancer treatment, namely radiotherapy. Lung cancer is among the most common forms of cancer and significantly impacts the quality of life for patients affected by this disease. The success of radiotherapy relies on precise planning and application. The entire bachelor´s thesis is divided into two parts - the theoretical and the research part. In the theoretical section, the thesis first addresses the anatomy and physiology of the lungs. it further delves into the issues surrounding lung carcinoma as and oncological disease, its symptoms, disease diagnosis, and risk factors. A crucial component of this part involves describing radiotherapy and other treatment modalities. In the research section, the thesis explains the algorithm for planning and implementing external radiotherapy for lung carcinoma. It evaluates the effectiveness of radiotherapy on a patient sample.	en
