dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce se zabývá monitorováním znalostí a dovedností všeobecných sester v problematice ošetřovatelské péče o střednědobý periferní katetr (PICC). Práce je rozdělená na část teoretickou a výzkumnou. V teoretické části jsou popsány technické parametry PICC a podmínky nutné pro jeho zavedení. Indikace, kontraindikace, rizika a komplikace spojené se zavedením a používáním PICC. Dále k tomu náležící standardní ošetřovatelské postupy a opatření nutné pro správné ošetřování PICC v rámci péče na lůžkách nebo ambulancích. Výzkum byl prováděn na lůžkových odděleních, stacionářích a ambulancích ve vybrané nemocnici Královehradeckého kraje pomocí dotazníkového šetření.Cílem práce bylo zjistit znalosti a dovednosti všeobecných sester v péči o PICC za standardních podmínek, nebo při komplikacích a s tím spojených nutných opatření a dodržování postupů správné ošetřovatelské praxe.Výsledky průzkumu budou využity jako edukační materiál určený pro doškolování všeobecných sester, směřující ke zkvalitnění ošetřovatelské péče v nemocnici, kde výzkum byl realizován.	cs
dc.description.abstract	This bachelor's thesis discusses the relevant knowledge and skill of nurses regarding the use of mid-term peripheral catheters (PICC) while assigned to the Nursing Care area. This thesis is divided into theoretical and research chapters. The theoretical section describes the technical parameters and use of the PICC and the conditions necessary for its implementation, indications, contraindications, risks and complications associated with its introduction and use. In addition, we discuss the standard nursing procedures and measures required for adequate treatment with PICC during in- or outpatient care. The research included in this thesis took place in inpatient wards, day care centres and outpatient wards in selected hospitals in the Region of Hradec Králové through a questionnaire.The aim of this study is to evaluate the knowledge and skill of general nurses in the care of PICC under standard conditions or during complications, as well as their response capacity in relation to good nursing practice.The results of the survey will be used as educational material intended to improve nurse training and thus the quality of nursing care.	en
