Designing new products makes it necessary to perform a number of prototype tests, which are time consuming and costly. One approach to avoid these problems is using so-called virtual prototypes created using finite element method. This technique has been used as an auxiliary tool for the development of Mobile Flood Barrier. Based on the concepts, a suitable material was selected using simulations, which was then experimentally verified using the proposed test device and then directly in the test channel under realistic conditions. Thanks to this product could result in less than one year.en
