dc.description.abstract	Diploma thesis deals with design, construction and testing of a variable test section. For its initial operations, three different nozzles for Mach numbers 1.4, 1.8 and 2.2 were made. These nozzles were designed using the method of characteristics. A Part of this work was to design and build a program to calculate the shape of jets using this method. Proposed profiles were simulated in software Fluent to verify the validity of the method of characteristics. During the experimental measurements in the laboratory of high speed in the Institute of Thermodynamics AVČR, images of the flow field using the colour schlieren method was taken. These were compared with numerical simulations and calculations using 1D method.	en
dc.description.abstract	Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem, stavbou a odzkoušením variabilního měřicího prostoru. Pro jeho počáteční provoz byly vyrobeny tři různé trysky pro Machova čísla 1,4, 1,8 a 2,2. Tyto trysky byly navrženy pomocí metody charakteristik. Součástí této práce bylo navržení a sestavení programu pro výpočet tvaru trysky pomocí této metody. Navržené profily byly simulovány v programu Fluent pro ověření platnosti metody charakteristik. Při experimentálním měření v laboratoři vysokých rychlosti ústavu termomechaniky AVČR byly pořízeny snímky proudového pole pomocí barevné šlírové metody. Ty byly porovnány s numerickou simulací a s výpočty pomocí 1D metody.	cs
