Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with the historical development of polymers and plastics processing methods. The content of the work is a theoretical analysis of the history of polymers and plastics processing since the so-called polymer century to the present, the development and consumption of polymers and the prospects for their use in the future. It also includes a more detailed overview of the history of plastic injection molding in the Czech Republic.
Bakalářská práce se zabývá historickým vývojem polymerů a metod zpracování plastů. Obsahem práce je teoretický rozbor historie polymerních materiálů a zpracování plastů od doby tzv. století polymerů až po současnost, rozvoj a spotřeba polymerů a výhled pro jejich využití v budoucnosti. Součástí je i podrobnější přehled historie vstřikování plastů v ČR.
