dc.description.abstractThe goal of this article is to examine the university activities supporting the innovation and entrepreneurial skills of their students. In the new innovation strategy (until 2030) of the Czech government entitled “Czech Republic, The Country for The Future” the support of science is crucial; research and innovation have an absolute priority. The authors of the article realized the analysis of the innovation centres in the Czech regions. This analysis and the results of long-term research of entrepreneurial spirit of students indicate that almost one - third of the students are very active and keen to start their business after graduation and the universities play the key role in this process.cs
