Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zabývá specifiky péče o pediatrické pacienty se status epilepticus. Rozebíraná je zde i epilepsie, která může způsobit epizody neobvyklého chování, zvláštních pocitů, které mohou následně vést k záchvatům i ztrátě vědomí. Práce je rozdělená na část teoretickou a část výzkumnou. V teoretické části se věnujeme popisu epilepsie jakožto chronickému onemocnění, statusu epileptiku a novým poznatkům o něm. Také diagnostikou, léčbou, rolí zdravotnického záchranáře a podstatně důležitou prognózou. Praktická část se zabývá znalostmi zdravotnických záchranářů a dětských sester v oblasti péče o pediatrického pacienta na jednotkách intenzivní a resuscitační péče, mapováním vědomostí zdravotnických záchranářů a dětských sester ohledně komplexní péče a také dopady status epilepticus na kognitivní funkce pacienta.
The bachelor thesis deals with the specifics of care for pediatric patients with status epilepticus. Epilepsy is aslo discussed. This illness can cause episodes of unusual behavior and strange feelings, which can subsequently lead to seizures and loss of consciousness. The work is divided into the theoretical part the research part. In the theoretical part, we focus on the descriptio of epilepsy as a chronic disease, status epilepticus and new knowledge about it. In the theoretical part i salso described diagnosis, treatment, the role of the paramedic and the sigificantly important prognosis. On the other hand the practical part deals with the knowledge of paramedics and children´s nurses in the field of pediatric patient care in intensive care units ad in resuscitation care, mapping the knowledge of paramedics and children´s urses regarding complex care as well as the impact of status epilepticus on the patient´s cognitive functions.
