Abstract
Péče o periferní žilní katétr patří k jedné z nejdůležitějších a nejčastěji používaných dovedností každé všeobecné sestry. Všeobecná sestra by měla periferní žilní katétr ošetřovat dle nejnovějších poznatků v rámci Evidence Based Nursing, aby se i předešlo případným komplikacím a dalším nežádoucím událostem. Právě z tohoto důvodu se bakalářská práce zaměřuje na tuto problematiku. Teoretická část se zabývá zásadami ošetřovatelské péče spojenými s postupem zavedení periferního žilního katétru, včetně pomůcek a možnými komplikacemi spojenými s periferním žilním katétrem. Výzkumná část se zabývá zjištěním znalostí studentů studijního oboru Všeobecná sestra a Zdravotnický záchranář o specifikách ošetřovatelské péče před, během a po zavedení periferního žilního katétru. Výzkum je realizován kvantitativní metodou s využitím techniky dotazníku.
Peripheral venous catheter care is one of the most important and most commonly used skills of every nurse. The general nurse should treat the peripheral venous catheter according to the latest findings within Evidence Based Nursing, in order to prevent possible complications and other undesirable incident. It is for this reason that the bachelor's thesis focuses on this issue. The theoretical part deals with the principles of nursing care associated with the procedure of introducing a peripheral venous catheter, including tools and possible complications associated with a peripheral venous catheter. The research part deals with finding out the knowledge of students of the study field Nurse and Paramedic about the specifics of nursing care before, during and after the introduction of a peripheral venous catheter. The research is carried out by a quantitative method using the technique of a questionnaire.
