Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zabývá úrovní připravenosti studentů oboru Zdravotnický záchranář na péči o pacienty s polytraumatem v přednemocničním prostředí. Teoretická část se věnuje vzdělávání zdravotnických záchranářů, jednotlivým typům poranění
a principům péče o polytrauma. Dále jsou zde shrnuty skórovací systémy u traumat, komplikace spojené se závažným traumatem a kritéria, která musí splňovat traumacentra v České republice. Cílem praktické části bylo zmapovat znalosti a zkušenosti studentů
v oblasti péče o pacienty s polytraumatem a zjistit, zda teoretická výuka této problematiky odpovídá požadavkům klinické praxe. Data byla získána kvalitativní metodou pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s vybranými studenty posledního ročníku.
This bachelor thesis examines the level of preparedness of students in the Paramedic program for providing care to polytrauma patients in the pre-hospital setting. The theoretical part focuses on the education and training of paramedics, various types of injuries, and the principles of polytrauma care. It also includes an overview of trauma scoring systems, complications associated with severe trauma, and the criteria that trauma centers in the Czech Republic must meet. The aim of the practical part was to map students' knowledge and experience in the care of polytrauma patients and to determine whether the theoretical instruction on this topic aligns with the requirements of clinical practice. Data were collected using a qualitative methodsemi-structured interviews with selected final-year students.
