dc.description.abstract | Methods of producing face float stitches in weft knitting are discussed: loop transfer, inlay, and purl knitting. The types of fabric which can be created using face float stitches are briefly described. The inlay method, where the face float yarn is inlaid under the needles, is recommended as the best method for producing such structures, but would necessitate a new machine to be built. | en |
