Abstract
Tato práce se zabývá problematikou volně prodejných léčiv, jejich nežádoucími účinky, nebezpečím použití a orientací veřejnosti v jejich používání. Teoretická část osvětluje nežádoucí účinky jednotlivých skupin volně prodejných léků a také podává informace o samoléčbě. Výzkumná část mapuje znalost a výskyt nežádoucích účinků volně dostupných léků ve čtyřech lékárnách v Libereckém kraji. Dále zkoumá, do jaké míry je laická veřejnost v tomto kraji o volně prodejných léčivech informována. Analýza a výsledky těchto informací jsou popsány ve výzkumném šetření. Na konci praktické části je uvedena kasuistika, popisující nežádoucí účinek po použití volně prodejného léku. Závěrem je nastíněn návrh na řešení zjištěných nedostatků pro praxi.
The bachelor assignment is focused on the issue of over-the-counter drugs, their adverse effects, the dangers of their ingestion and the public awareness of their application. The theoretical part explains the adverse effects of particular groups of over-the-counter medicaments and it also provides information on self-treatment. The research part of the bachelor assignment depicts the knowledge and occurrence of adverse effects of over-the-counter drugs in four chemists and one general practitioner´s office in Liberec region. Further on, the research part explores the extent of the lay public awareness of over-the-counter drugs in Liberec region. The analysis and research findings are depicted in the chapter called ?Research Investigation?. At the end of the practical part, there is the casuistry illustrating the adverse effects after over-the-counter drugs´ ingestion. The bachelor assignment is concluded by the proposal for the solution of identified shortcomings for practical use.
