    Chráněné bydlení dospělých mentálně postižených osob

    The subject of the thesis is the care of mentally handicapped adults and sheltered housing provided by the social care system. It examines the transfer of different types of handicapped clients from asylums to sheltered apartments. The benefits of social service, the activities and satisfaction of the clients were also taken to consideration. The paper consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical parts analyses specialized resources and deals with the socialization as well as the ambit of this legislation. The interviews, observations, and the company records studies researches life in sheltered housing. To summarise, the thesis analyss the quality of life and benefits of sheltered housing for mentally disabled clients. The practical part proved the positive contribution of sheltered housing for its users. The objectives of the thesis were fully covered.
