    The purpose of my thesis is to analyse the operational break downs of the gear pumps and to determine the weak points. The thesis describes the function of the gear pumps in general and also deterioration of iťs parts. It specifies the weak points (and dangerous places) for possible break downs and compares them with already known break downs.
