The main task of the theoretical part is to introduce coaching history and its usage such as one of the ways connected with a new kind of people management. Coaching is well known and used in the sport area, where trainers try to gain the maximum performance out of their team-mates. Firm practice is absolutely essential to adjust coaching to the given conditions, however the heart of the matter stays the same. The research that was made, has confirmed that the firm management knows coaching method and partly uses it when managing people. There is also another space for a knowledge extension and practical experience. The practical part deals with a questionnaire research to find out a knowledge level of emplyees and managers about coaching.
