Theoretic part deals with explanation of the marketing communication term and further on with instruments which are used in connection with successful marketing communication. In practical part of the thesis I engage in comparison of both organizing cities which organized and arranged this international sport event in the past. Their comparison from individual aspects and especially analysis of marketing communication applied at both world championships. The conclusion, based on identified facts, deals with a proposal of communication campaign itself which could be successfully applied in the framework of World Championship in nordic.
