- ItemAplikace projektu b2fair v zahraničním obchodě podniku(Technická Univerzita v Liberci, 2011) Rýdlová, Táňa; Demel, JaroslavThis diploma thesis examines effects of the involvement of the special marketing project b2fair in the acquisition activities in company's foreign trade. The thesis comes out from specific experience of the company Unitherm, Ltd. with this project. In addition, this thesis examines the circumstances that lead to existence of the project b2fair. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the direct and indirect business methods. It is also focused on some possibilities of company's acquisition activities, the ways of entry to the foreign market and the instruments of marketing communication. Besides, it depicts the terms "B2B and B2C markets" and the differences between them. The practical part of the thesis characterises the company Unitherm, Ltd. and the project b2fair. Namely, it deals with its history, development, workflow, benefits and risks for companies applying this project. The name of the project b2fair is inspired by generally known terms B2B and B2C. The project b2fair is a type of acquisition (in the sense of effort to win customers) which is based on the methodical meetings of suppliers and customers. Its business purpose is to find the most direct business method. The reason is that the direct business method enables to keep a direct contact with appropriate customers and to reduce costs as a result of the exclusion of mediators from a distribution channel. A crucial marketing purpose of the project is to increase efficiency of exhibitions and trade fairs since these instruments of marketing communication have experienced a rapid failure in recent years. The company Unitherm, Ltd. has started to participate in the events b2fair particularly in order to get new foreign customers. The company expects an inexpensive quantitative and qualitative development of its customer base. The main aim of this thesis is to find out whether the expected results are achieved. To be more specific, it should be verified whether the company Unitherm, Ltd. can increase a number of worthwhile contacts without expending immoderate costs.

It comes out from the conditions of TI Automotive AC Ltd., where I was working to get experienced for ten weeks. It is focused principally on the commodity "Aluminium Flanges", the necessary component of air-conditions. The main purpose is to find out if there is a possibility to cut the costs of the alluminium flanges purchase by the substitution of the contemporary supplier. The preface of the work includes a brief introduction of the company and its present condition, next follows a description of the execution of the project. That starts with a selection of the alternate suppliers and carriers after which there is a detailed cost calculation. The most suitable option is then compared to the actual condition. The text is continuously interlaced by the academic items.
