    Diplomová práce mapuje využívání logistiky jako filozofie řízení výrobních organizací v okresech Jablonec nad Nisou a Semily, konkrétně v oblastech systému celkového řízení podniku, nákupu, zásobování, distribuce, využívání informačního systému a v oblasti využívání logistických metod. Průzkum byl proveden formou dvou dotazníků. Dotazník č. 1 se kromě zjištění základních informací o dané společnosti (jak dlouho a v jakém průmyslovém odvětví podniká a kolik má zaměstnanců) týkal zejména zjištění, zda má daná společnost logistické oddělení. Dotazník č. 2 vhodnými otázkami podrobněji analyzoval zavedení a využívání logistiky ve výše zmiňovaných oblastech.

    Zavedení technologie čárových kódů ve skladě firmy XY s.r.o.

    This dissertation describes the implementation of the barcode technology used for dispatch of the goods in the warehouse of trading company. The dissertation takes into consideration current situation of the company, existing processes, available technology, assortment and custumers. The first part of dissertation describes in details current processes without barcodes. The following part explains how the process changes after the implementation of the barcode technology. The inseparable part makes the principal information on barcodes together with the explanation of basic terms as well. The emphasis is put primarily on the necessary changes in the warehouse organization and ERP, which is requested by the barcode technology implementation. The next parts include the technical solution from the point of the software as the hardware equipment of the company. The component chapters bring basic information about wireless net, barcode scanner and barcode printers. The last part summaries expected costs and total contribution of the system implementation for the company activities from not only the financial view but mainly from the company market position.
