    The thesis deals with the quality control in wholesale and specialized retail which basic endeavour is selling high quality and undamaged goods. The quality is considered to be one of the most important and strategic factors that determinates the competitiveness and success of the company not only at the domestic market. One of the options how to prove quality of the products or goods as well as the quality of the organization is the system of quality control. The aim of the work is to show importance of quality for company that wants to be successful on the market and to propose solutions for improving quality in the firm. The theoretical part focuses on the problems of quality, its history, devices management, interprets as individual systems of quality control according to ISO norms. The practical part attends to implementing and holding of quality and environment control in the company PLAST Ltd., Česká Lípa. It makes reference to quality control before and after certification and how the company holds the integrated system of quality and environment. As the concept of improving I propose to change its current accounting package by that firm improves its image by customers and satisfaction of customers. The final part describes the evaluation of quality certificates and the necessity of implementation of unified system of managing the quality in the EU countries and in the Czech Republic, which became the EU member on 1st May 2004. It makes reference to possibility of improving current quality level.
