Johnson Controls, Power Solutions division, is one of the world's leading producers of lead / acid automotive starter batteries. Johnson Controls Inc. is in a position of being the dominant company in an oligopoly structured sector within the European market. Currently, one coefficient measures the level of the logistics service. An appropriately chosen, simple numeric formula indicates the customer satisfaction. The performance level of the whole company and also that of the logistics referents, is evaluated by using the same indicator. This leads to the fact that the referents prefer the processes which ultimately result in a negative influence on customer satisfaction. The thesis analyses the factors which had an influence on the coefficient and have suggested solutions for the increasing of its validity.
