    The baccalaureate essay dealt with problems of unemployment of young people, who left the education system untimely and who have difficulties to assert on the labour market without qualification. The law makes it possible to become unemployed and to be in labour offices filling. But the filling isn{\crq}t resolution for this group without other activities. One of the targets of this baccalaureate essay was to ascertain the reasons for unemployment of young people and to judge the importance of work with the unemployed adolescents to change their motivation to get some qualification. In the theoretic part the author availed special materials and she described problems of unemployment in global. She further showed the problems of young people in the context of unemployment. Second part was practical. There are results of questionnaire verification of reasons of unemployment and the attitude of young people to solving their situation. There was selected a sample of 77 persons. The results showed minimal initial motivation of the target group to solve their situation and also the reasons of this state. By questioning it was found out that offering concrete possibilities to solve their situation can motivate the young people to make changes. The greatest contribution of this work concerning the problems solved was finding that the people who in a way failed in the system of their education are accessible to motivation by the means of suitable activities for getting some qualification in the system of lifelong learning.
