The burnout syndrome can be described as the losing an interest in a job mostly seen among employees with great ideals and maximal enthusiasm for work. The losing an interest affects the people working too much with the other ones and can be caused by a longtime or frequent infliction of a stress. The burnout syndrome threatens visceral, psychical, emotional even social integrity of a man. The Bachelor work was divided into two parts. The first one was the theory. The problem was described and we could find the information what can cause it, something about a process of it, the consequences and the cure or prevention possibilities. The first part was aimed to a describing the problems concerned the burnout syndrome by an elaboration and a presentation the special resources. There were described some professions, which are most often threaten with the burnout syndrome, in the part one. The second, investigative part was focused on a survey the hundred people working in the vulnerable groups of employees at the district of Děčín. An interview method was used for this research. The analysis was based on the statistic process of the gained data given by the sample of the informants. These results helped to specify a degree of the burnout syndrome in the separated groups and the differences between these two individual groups. The proving the existence of the burnout syndrome among the interviewed people can be taken as the greatest benefit of this work. The informants could see the content and the results of this work, so they could think about the cure or prevention the burnout syndrome.
