    Náboženství a individualismus v české společnosti po roce 1989

    The diploma work deals with the sense of religious consciousness in the Czech society from 1989 up to now. It defines the reasons and the possible causes why is the Czech society considered to be secularised rather than spiritual, and where, on the contrary, high religious individualism persists. It analyzes the key historical events and determines which historical events have influenced the current sense of religious consciousness and why (e.g. the period of National Revival or the Communist Era). On the grounds of the empirical survey that has been made the diploma work demonstrates that there have emerged alternative forms of spiritual awareness besides the institutionalised traditional religious groups/communes. The diploma work describes the sense of religious consciousness in our society as multiform in character, and evidences how this spirituality makes oneself feel in our society
