For assess, if the economic of the country is ready to accpept common currency, is used monetary Maastricht convergence criteria. The thesis ?Monetary Maastricht convergence criteria ? macroeconomic and microeconomic context of the impact on businesses? describes just these convergence criteria. As in the Czech Republic but now there is no place for accept common currency, so this thesis goes through, that performance of these convergence criteria is good for price and economic stability of the economic not only the Czech Republic, but other countries. In this thesis are at first described the criteria, their construction, performance from the Czech economy since joining the European Union, since 2004. Subsequently, there are macroeconomic and microeconomic costs and benefits which bring from performance convergence criteria. Finally the thesis says, that although there is not studied the influence of the Maastricht convergence criteria and the performance of these criteria is positive for the economy of the Czech Republic.
