    Základní principy řízení bankovních rizik v ČR

    This diploma thesis deals with basic principles of management of bank risks in the Czech Republic. This work shows more comprehensive list of bank risks, their charakteristic and the most common models and tools of the measuring and risk management. The whole paper is primarily divided into three parts. The conception of risk and various kinds of bank risks are characterized in the initial part. The second part of the thesis is an analysis of regulatory treatment by the Czech National Bank. It is discribing arrangements of Central bank about capital adequacy, the New Basel Capital Accord specified by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision and capital requirements of bank risks. The final third part is concentrated on common ways of risk measuring, first of all on the Value at risk Method and other different methods. The final part of the work is focused on the process of risk management and subsequently on management of this risks.
