- ItemŽeny ve středním a vyšším managementu(Technická Univerzita v Liberci, 2008-01-01) Mizlerová, Monika; Hojsáková, DenisaGender problematic and employment of women in the management is a topic, which is very actual at the present. Despite of passed opinions, that women don´t belong into the management, the situation is changing slowly. The firms are realizing, that it can´t do wrong them, if they employ women in the management, on the contrary, it helps them to make the way of leading and work in general much more effective. So, women are employed at the level low and middle management more often now. But it´s much more difficult for women to have a success, and get an engagement in the top management. There are many reasons for this. Firstly, there are many gender stereotypes, which claim, women can´t do this job well. Another one is, that women have another priorities in the relation family-work as men. It´s much more difficult for women to decide what to prefere. One reason for that is pregnancy, which get women to leave work for a certain time. Another reason is, that women think, that their families suffer, if they spend a lot of time at work. Though the slow rate, we can predict, that women in the management will have better position and there will no discrimination on the job market between men and women more.
