- ItemAnalysis of thermal properties affected by different(Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, 2019) Siddique, Hafiz Faisal; Mazari, Adnan Ahmed; Havelka, Antonín; Laurinová, RadkaThe aim of this research is to analyze the effect of various extension levels on thermal properties including thermal conductivity and thermal effusivity of compression socks. Compression socks are recommended as tool for compression therapy but discouraged because poor performance regarding its interaction to thermal properties especially the thermal conductivity and effusivity. The problem of this research is to investigate how much the circumferential extensibility of compression socks affects its thermal comfort properties. Here, gradual increase in extension values of strips depicts the different circumferences of the legs. For extension, we introduced novel extension frame attached with movable gears and revolving handle. The aim of this research is to analyze effect of gradient elastic elongation [%] on thermal effusivity [W.s1/2/m2.K] and thermal conductivity [W/m.K] in relaxed (0% extension) and extended state (up to 70% extension). To extend the compression socks a novel extension frame was used. Conclusively, we found that as elastic elongation increases, thermal conductivity and thermal effusivity changes significantly. We also have concluded for extension above 70% that the trends changes and comfort properties started to decline. Out of three socks samples, the best one was rib structured compression socks sample.
- ItemOptimizing sewing speed for better seam quality of denim fabric(Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, 2019) Debes,Rania Moustafa Kamel Abdulaal; Mazari, Adnan AhmedSewing process is the most common task in any garments manufacturing company. The worker usually gets paid according to number of items made, which causes the demand to run the sewing machines at highest speeds. In this research it is determined if this high speed effect the seam strength and what should be optimum speed considering denim fabric with commonly used polyester core spun thread. The results shows that the seam strength is significantly decreases with increase of sewing speed and the acceptable quality with better production can be achieved if the sewing speed is 40 Hz.
- ItemPerformance Characterization and Pressure Prediction of Compression Socks(KOREAN FIBER SOC, KOREA SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY CTR #501 635-4 YEOGSAM-DONG, KANGNAM-GU, SEOUL 135-703, SOUTH KOREA, 2020-03) Siddique, Hafiz Faisal; Mazari, Adnan Ahmed; Havelka, Antonín; Kůs, ZdeněkObjective of the current research is to develop the mathematical model for the prediction of compression pressure by incorporating some of new but missing variables; circumferential aspect of leg (L-c) and socks (S-c), true stress (sigma(T)), true/logarithm strain (epsilon(T)), true modulus of elasticity (E-T), deformed width (W-f) at b ankle position. Socks samples were purchased, hand washed, donned, marked, sliced to loops and then cut to rectangular strips to obtain force-elongation curve at different extensions context to practical elongation. Additionally, all samples were evaluated to analyze the influnce of multiple-machine washes as well as for identification of most influential fabric parameter on compresson pressure, statistically. Standard sized wooden leg (S9=24 cm) attached with pneumatic based sensors (Salzmann MST MK IV) to medial side was used. Force-extension diagram was obtained using Testometric tensile tester. Mathematical models were developed on the basis of principle of Laplace's law. Developed two models were analyzed and comapred with two existing recently developed models statitistically using MINTAB 17 software.
- ItemPerformance Characterization of Compression Socks at Ankle Portion under Multiple Mechanical Impacts(2019-07-23) Faisal Siddique, Hafiz; Mazari, Adnan Ahmed; Havelka, Antonín; Kus, ZdeněkThe aim of this research is to investigate how performance of compression socks is deteriorated due to expected induced wearing mechanical impacts. Wearing mechanical impacts influence the durability parameters i.e. tensile energy loss, extent of pressure deterioration and dimensional deformation. This research is comprised of two parts; 1): Comparison of unwashed and hand washed cut-strips for tensile energy and dimensional deformation. For tensile energy loss, cut-strip samples were-interacted to constant rate of loading and un-loading, cyclic-loading upto 15th cycles for +/- 5 mm extension (considering muscles expansion and relaxation) and were dwelled (stayed) for 3 minutes at 25%, 50% and 75% extension levels, simultaneously. As a second part 2); Three levels (1st, 2nd and 3rd) of gradual intensive machine washes were performed to quantify the extent of deterioration of compression pressure, worn alternatively on a fixed sized plastic leg, using KIKUHIME pressure measuring device. Dimensional deformation due to hand washing while dimensional recovery; immediately after pressure measurement (after Pr.), and a-day-later after pressure measurement (dL Pr.) was compared and statistically analyzed. Statistical validation of second part was performed by introducing measures of correlation, p-value ( 0.05), R-square values using MINITAB 17 software.
- ItemRelation between needle and needleless electrospinning(Technická Univerzita v Liberci, 2011) Mazari, Adnan Ahmed; Jirsák, OldřichAbstract This Thesis predict a relation between needle and needle-less electrospinning ,as the needle-less or roller electrospinning is a time consuming and expensive procedure .so Poly (ethylene oxide ) with different molecular weight ,concentration and additives was tested on needle and needle-less elctrospinning with changing solution and process parameters (Molecular weight, voltage supply ,distance between electrodes, addition of NaCl-salt) whereas the ambient parameters (temperature and humidity )were kept constant. The results were examined on SEM and shows a great relationship between needle and needle-less electrospinning particularly in terms of spinnability, fiber quality ,non-fiborous area ,fiber diameter, fiber diameter distribution and throughput. The result are usefull in predicting the behavior of polymers in needle-less electrospinning with results from needle electrospinning.

Diamond like carbon (DLC) vrstvou.
