    This diploma thesis is engaged in a standard practice of an insurance company and an insured person when a car accident happens. It also describes the work of car accident experts. The main purpose of the teoretical part of this work is to describe how a damaged person acts in the case of a car accident, how insurance companies act an in the case of insured accident of motor vehicles and how they estimate damages to the car or damages to human health and how looks an expert opinion elaborated on the request of an insurance company. In practical part of this work is given an example of road accident, the assessment of damage and an expert opinion on suspicion of the insurance fraud.
