    Pojištění odpovědnosti za škodu způsobenou provozem vozidla z hlediska schopnosti pojistitele plnit své závazky

    The objective of this diploma paper is to prove the significance of the legislative increase of the insurance compensation limit for damages on articles and the lost profit for creation of reserves for insurance benefits. To achieve this objective, the Chain-Ladder method will be used on a chosen set of data. The first chapter is devoted to motor third party liability insurance, legal development and the Czech Insurers´ Bureau. The second chapter includes an analysis of the motor third party liability insurance market and no claim discount. The third chapter outlines the influence of third party liability insurance on the economic performance of an insurance company (assessment of insurance premium and segmentation in the motor third party liability insurance ) and above all describes technical reserves, which are created by a non-life insurance company. The last chapter includes a calculation of provisions for outstanding claims for situations before and after Directive 2005/14/EC of the European Parliament and the Council was taken into account.
