    My thesis dissert upon the problems of the investment activities of an enterprise. It describes the theoretical limitation of the investment from two points of view - from the macroeconomics and microeconomics. Follows by the solitary investment activities of an enterprise within there are briefly adumbrated the strategic aims of an enterprise, its particular investment strategy, categorization of investment projects, preparation and realization of an entrepreneurial projects. Part of my work is dedicated to the cash flows from investment projects, which are fundament for single methods of the evaluation of the investment intentions of the enterprise. There are individually characterized the basic methods of an evaluation of the investments. Theoretical part is added by the investment risks, which are with the investment activities of an enterprise fully connected. The knowledge achieved from the theoretical part is fully applied on the evaluation of the particular investment project of the JABLONEX GROUP Inc. This project is based on the acquisition of a new zinc line. The aim of my thesis is to outline the particular methods of the interpretation of the investment project and its application on the particular investment intention. Furthermore to interpret results in the framework of the particular methods of evaluation. Compare these methods and find out the conclusions about the project on a base of the ascertained indexes respecting the rejection or acceptance of the investment.
