On the principle of additional procedure, there are the financial means from the state, from The Structural Funds and also from the applicant (recipient of the support), ``merging{\crqq} into this field. There is a possibility to draw the support from The State Budget separately, however the basis of the thesis is the drawing the sources from the EU. The field of the public support of the education is generally drafted in the same way as for the other fields of support, therefore is the character (procedure and legislative) of the thesis general. The public support of the education is differing in the maximal admissible rates of the gross rate of the public support only. Firstly there are the basic terms about the public support specified, in the practical part the field of education (exception from the public support), there is a thinking of the public support into the educational system concluded. The aim of the thesis has been working up, by means of the law definitions of the public support and the consultations with The Economic Chamber of Prague, The Diploma Thesis about the field of public support and outlining a methodical instruction for the drawing the financial means from The EU Funds. The whole setting of the system of the public support of the education in The Czech republic in terms of the sources from The EU (The Structural Funds) is evaluated by the experts as satisfying. However, our republic has been a newcomer into The EU since the year 2004, so there are certain difficulties with the application of the rules, which had been developing and changing in The EU during several decades. The recommendations for the new period 2007-2013 have come out. As for the past period, in terms of the project cofinanced by The ESF, there has been demonstrated the difference between the allocated grant and the really received rate of the public support, on the basis of the methodology. There is a model example of the public support into the training counted up.
