- ItemVlastnosti vláken pro biodegradovatelné kompozity(Technická Univerzita v Liberci, 2006) Kaplanová, Soňa; Daďourek, KarelThe emphasis of this diploma work is the survey of the characteristics of biodegradable fibres of composite materials, examination of availability several calculation models to determination strength and Young's modulus of cellulose fibres and evaluation of behaviour the cellulose fibres inside polymer matrix. The problem of the biodegradation of polymers is described in the theoretical chapter. A cellulose and polyvinyl alcohol as materials are widely described. Furthermore, the fibrous composites are expatiated and this part includes the theoretical application bases of the calculation models according to Voigt, Reuss and Halpin-Tsai, which are used for the calculation of the mechanical properties of composite materials. In experimental part is described preparation of composite material from wood pulp and polyvinyl alcohol, specimen's forewinning for tensile test, stress-strain measurement, specimen's preparation for microscopy and calculation models that for composite materials with random oriented fibres. Moreover, the results of the tension test and the microscopic analysis, as well as the calculated values for the strength and the elasticity modulus of wood pulp fibers are presented
