    Vliv legislativních změn na strukturu neziskového sektoru v ČR po roce 1989

    Subject of this thesis is an influence of a legislative process upon development of non-profit sector in the Czech Republic since 1989 up to now. My work has been divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. First of all non-profit sector has been defined including its participation in a system of economy. Further, historical relevance of this sector in the Czech Republic has been chartered. Fundamental part of the work has been aimed at attitude and influence of the state, resp. government bodies towards non-profit sector by legislative means. Four representative types of non-government organisations - citizens´ association, public beneficial associations, foundations and endowment fund - have been selected to analyse the attitude and the influence mentioned above. In order to charter the given problem correctly, laws and decrees regulating those organisations have been used, as well as their updating and statistics data concerning numbers of these since 1989 till October 2010. In the given period, 24 legislative interventions have been marked , nevertheless, only one of them demonstrably influenced statistical development of non-profit organisations that have been monitored. My work has proved that in the Czech Republic there is no clearly determined atttitude of the lawmakers onto non-profit sector and legislation does not correspond to an economic maturity of the Czech Republic. Result of this is a minimal influence of legislation upon development of non-profit sector.
