    Ověření účinnosti her ve školní tělesné výchově

    The aim of the Diploma Thesis is to verify effectiveness of games for school physical education, the Thesis elaborates their impact on lower limbs strength development. The research was carried out by means of a comparative experiment, while which small movement games were included into physical education for an experimental group of children. Lower limbs strength development was verified by means of motor tests and compared with the other group which was not exposed to the experiment. The received test results did not prove that the movement games in physical education for primary schools develop the strength of lower limbs. The development was detected in both groups of children. However, the experiment indicated that the small movement games play a significant role, they create a positive atmosphere and ensure an active participation of all children in educational process. Popularity of the small movement games has been verified by a questionnaire, which was presented to the children at the end of the experiment and its analysis is included in the Diploma Thesis. Using small movement games in physical education at primary schools is considered to be appropriate, because they encourage children to participate actively in educational process and to develop not only their movement skills, games are very motivating for them.
