The existing method of transport is based on swivelling grippers. This work suggests a method of supplying the bait from the bottom of the machine. The proposal utilizes a pneumatic actuator, which transfers the bait from the end of the supply tube to rotary grippers. Unintentional falling of the bait from the end of the tube is prevented by a fixed stopper. A specially designed holder of grippers prevents the bait to fall our during the motion of the piston. In order to reduce the piston speed before the upper end of the stroke, it was necessary to solve a method, how to convert kinetic energy of the bait. The solution was to use flexible grip actuated by paralel grippers. For functioning of the mechanism, an opening had to be made in the sliding platform. The opening has to be pneumatically closed, in order to get the tied bait into the container with finished products. Reliability of the transport and the consecutive operations is to be secured with three sensors.
