    The bachalor thesis dealt with the issue of interpersonal relations between the convicts and the nature of social change on prisoners in the prison section. Its aim was to identify and describe the nature of relationships and social change. The work consists of two key parts, it is theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part of the presentation dealt with the basic terminology of literature in the field of interpersonal relationships and social groups, where interpersonal relationships take place. The practical part of the questionnaire detected with using analysis of technical and interpersonal relationships with emphasis on the positions of members in small groups and formal nature of the social environment through attitudes sentenced to prison staff, their interrelationships, quality, consistency and emotional identification, the reference relations and attitudes toward the prison staff at 41 inmates. It was an organizational one entire section of convicts. The results showed the need for intimacy with the inmates related to poor interpersonal relationships between them. The findings resulted in the proposed measures in the methodical preparation of the prison staff which provide direct treatment of prisoners. Especially educators and supervisors should take appropriate measures designed to improve methods of dealing with prisoners. The greatest contribution of the work in relation to solving problems can be considered a finding that staff may efficiently use sociometry of their work who participate in the educational influence of convicts.
