    Bachelor dissertation has been related to the guestions of the offence against property on Semily district in the period from the year 1996 up to the year 2006. It has been proceeded from the crimes and the criminals within the control of Head District of the Police of the Czech Republic in Semily thad had been detected in the period in view. The main intent of my bachelor dissertation was to detect and to define reasons for commission of criminal activity against property, to record the developement of this antisocial behaviour and the perpetrator for criminal act himself. My work was constituted by two main topics. The first one was the theoretical part whitch had been describing the offence against property, the felony theft as per § 247 of the penal code and some acts done by Police of the Czech Republic during criminal proceedings by the way of the processing and presentation of the expert sources. The practical part had detected characteristics of 122 perpetrators for felony theft as per § 247 of the penal code by means of analysis of the criminal records and analysis of the secondary sources. Next, it had detected the data about the 550 theft cases that had been realized by burglary. The results indicated to of the concretely suggested precautions. As the mostly contributive in view of the above problems I consider the knowledge about the concrete hazard factors that occure with the offendders against property and informations about the crimes that has been typical of Semily district.
