    This thesis dealt with the issue of emotional deprivation of children in orphanages and foster homes to school. Goal of this thesis was to investigate and compare the incidence and manifestations of emotional deprivation of children in orphanages and foster homes to school. It was about finding out how the emotional deprivation of these children. In The theoretical part of the thesis with the help of expert sources provided information concerning the issues of emotional deprivation, causes and manifestations of her emotional deprivation of children in institutional care. Objective thesis was further achieved through the survey, which is described in the practical part of the thesis, which provides an assessment of individual questionnaire items. The results are then presented through tables and graphs. Summary of the thesis is the conclusion to which the proposed measures follow. The work list of the sources and supplements. The purpose of the thesis was to gain a better orientation in problems of psychological distress in children placed in orphanages and foster homes with schools, improving thequality of care for these children and prevention of emotional deprivation of children.
