    Role pojišťovacích zprostředkovatelů na pojistném trhu v ČR

    The aim of my graduation thesis is to include a complex view on the problematics of the insurance intermediaries and review thus their role on the Czech insurance market. The main reason for this theme processing was enactment of entirely new law which regulates the intermediary activity in insurance for the first time in the Czech Republic. It means the Act No. 38/2004 Coll., about insurance intermediaries and loss adjusters, valid since the first January 2005. The first part of diploma thesis is insisted on the expression of importance and task of insurance intermediaries. The second part is focused on development of Czech legal regulations dealing with the insurance intermediaries and on description of modifications which occurred from 1991. Then the analysis of the new legal regulations and a report how the intermediary activity operates in a standard practice follows. At the conclusion the fruitfulness of mediate distribution is evaluated in comparison with other channels of distribution.
