    This work introduces snowboarding, especially freestyle snowboarding, to the general public.It apprizes of the history of snowboarding, shows the czech snowboarding and its background in the form of media and major events organized within our country.Due to the special terminology used, basic concepts are explained.Moreover, practical advices, connected to the purchase of equipment, are given.The most remarkable snowparks in the Czech Republic are evaluated.The main part of the thesis is an instructional video that covers basic freestyle tricks including their descriptions. Similar descriptions are mentioned in the theoretical part as well.
