- ItemA comparison of methods for measuring thermal insulation of military clothing(SAGE PUBLICATIONS INC, 2455 TELLER RD, THOUSAND OAKS, CA 91320 USA, 2019) Švecová, Jana; Strohmandl, Jan; Fišer, Jan; Toma, Róbert; Hajna, Petr; Havelka, AntonínThis study presents methods for measuring thermal insulation of military clothing assemblies used in various climatic regions of the world, with the exception of polar regions. With the use of FOX 314 and thermal manikin, the thermal insulation of the fabrics (military materials) was ascertained at simulating real climatic conditions of cold, arid, temperate and tropical zones according to European standard EN 60721-2-1: 2014. The aim of this study was to compare the values of thermal insulation of the duty of military clothing ascertained by two methods and to evaluate the reliability of methods and instruments used. The measured results show that the measurement methods used are different in terms of method and measurement conditions, the results of the thermal insulation and the resulting choice of military clothing in the type of climate. The functionality and suitability of the use of military clothing sets were verified in real climatic conditions, provided that the optimal thermal comfort of the wearer was achieved.

In the theoretical part, there are the explanations of the used expressions and history of the burnout syndrome and it was also aimed to the main factors which lead to the burnout syndrome. Then it introduced some types of some burdening situations which could have important influences on the rise and the progress of the burnout syndrome and afterwards it described continuing of the burnout syndrome. In the second theoretical part, the author introduced to readers the Prison Service of the Czech Republic and its characteristics. The close of the theoretical part is aimed to the working responsibilities´ description of wardens and also to the characteristics of the working surroundings with the particular burdening situations there. The aim of the practical part of this Bachelor Work was finding out the threatening measure of the burnout syndrome among the Prison Service Staff working as wardens. The survey is based on the BM (Burnout Measure) questionnaire. The main suppose was that the most threatened ones are wardens with at least 3-year-long experience. The sample of respondents was made of 45 wardens from the Vinařice Prison. In the conclusion, according to the found information, there is a piece of knowledge that even the staff of the Prison Service can be included in the professions threatened by the burnout syndrome. It also pointed out the interests´ absence of the professionals about this problem connected with the Prison Service of the CR. The supervision was mentioned as the possible resolution which should come true outside the prison by an external specialist.
