    This thesis deals with the cooperation of family and school and its impact on the child and the educational process. Concretely, the thesis focuses on cooperation between parents and schools in all primary schools operating in the town Frýdlant and its surroundings. First, in the theoretical part, it describes on the basis of the scientific literature the basic terminology that relates to this issue, deals with the concepts of family, school, cooperation, communication and look at these terms from different perspectives according to the authors. The second part describes the research that the author carried out to analyze the current situation of cooperation between family and school in the area of Frýdlantsko. The results of this survey and comparison with literature data are given in conclusion. The work is complemented by a project that the author realized in order to encourage this cooperation.
